Privacy
This site is static pages with no accounts, no forms and no tracking scripts. The short version is that the desk holds nothing about you except an email you chose to send it.
The short version
Engine Room serves static pages. There is no account system, no login, no comment section, no form and no newsletter. The site sets no cookies of its own, runs no analytics script, and embeds no advertising, social or tracking pixels. If you read a page and leave, the desk has no record of you beyond whatever appears in ordinary web server logs.
Server logs
Like any website, requests reach a web server that may record standard request data: an IP address, a timestamp, the path requested, a referrer and a user agent string. This is the ordinary operation of the hosting layer rather than a deliberate collection programme, and the desk does not build profiles from it, does not join it to anything else, and does not sell or share it.
Third parties involved in serving a page
Three external services are involved in rendering a page and each is worth naming plainly, because your browser contacts them directly.
- A stylesheet and script CDN. Layout primitives and icon fonts are loaded from a public content delivery network. Your browser's request to that network is visible to its operator.
- A web font service. The typefaces used here are served by a public font provider, so your browser makes a request to that provider when a page loads.
- The hosting provider. The server that returns these pages, and any network in front of it, sees requests in the ordinary way.
Each of those operators has its own privacy practices, which the desk neither controls nor can meaningfully summarise on their behalf. The site uses no other third-party service, and in particular it uses no analytics, tag manager, heatmap, session recorder or advertising network.
Links that leave this site
Some pages link to external documentation and some link to a commercial console. Following any of them takes you to a site with its own privacy practices and its own tracking, and the desk has no visibility into either. Links that leave this site open in a new tab so that the transition is obvious rather than silent.
Email you send to the desk
If you email the address on the contact page, that message is held in an ordinary mailbox for as long as it is useful, which usually means until the matter it raises is resolved and a reasonable period afterwards. It is not added to any list, not used for marketing, not passed to any third party and not published. If you ask for a message to be deleted, it will be.
What is not collected
No wallet address, no signature, no seed phrase, no private key, no transaction data and no on-chain identity of any kind. This site is documentation; nothing on it asks you to connect a wallet, approve anything, or paste a key, and any page or message that appears to do so in the name of Engine Room did not come from this desk.
Changes to this page
If the site ever adds something that changes the answer, this page changes first and the change is described in plain language rather than absorbed into a longer document. The editorial policy covers how corrections and updates are handled across the site generally.
